| Training | My training philosophy is simple: I strive to offer the best course I can in the most responsible, professional, and safe manner possible. I keep class size small so we can tailor the course to the students' needs as much as possible. I offer flexible scheduling. Once you decide to pursue a course with me, we will construct a schedule that best suits our needs. I offer training that is directed towards the Great Lakes wreck diver, no matter your experience level. If you are just beginning your wreck diving avocation, I can start you with SDI Wreck Diver or Nitrox Diver. If you are ready for a bigger challenge, I offer technical diving courses to take you into the realm of decompression diving, wreck penetration or mixed gas (trimix) diving. I offer real-world training. I conduct training all over the Great Lakes, from Lake Superior to the St. Lawrence River. Quarries are fine for practice, but course completion dives are carried out on real Great Lakes dives. I have had students come to me with Wreck Diver certifications that they earned by spending a weekend at a quarry diving on "wrecks" in 20' of water. I do not teach that way. If you take a course from me, you will not earn a certification card until all course objectives are successfully completed. Please visit the Calendar page to view a listing of upcoming courses. If you do not see the course you are looking for, or do not see the course you would like to take offered at a convenient time, please contact me and we'll set up a custom schedule for you. Please do not hesitate to contact me with questions, or for more information about training programs. |
