| Training | The Advanced Wreck Diver course deals specifically with wreck penetration. As you may imagine, going inside a wreck can be very hazardous and requires meticulous planning, gas management, risk assessment and disciplined execution. Detailed dive planning, gas management and appropriate equipment configuration are stressed. The course consists of about 8 hours of classroom instruction and 6 penetration/overhead dives. This course is open to recreational divers as well as technical divers. The course will be tailored to your specific certification and experience level. The Advanced Wreck Diver course is a lot of fun and a great learning experience for those wreck divers ready to start exploring the inside of wrecks. This course also makes an excellent precursor to courses like Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures where some of the same planning strategies are used.
